Toni, a smart young boy, accompanies his archaeologist father to the town of Cat Mountain. There, he meets the cute and lively daughter of the innkeeper, Carla. They go to school together and become the best of friends.

On their way to school, they accidentally enter the caves of an archaeological site and surprisingly embark on a time traveling adventure! The cave is magically connected to the tunnel of time, which brings them back to the world of four hundred years ago.

Arriving in the past, they are trapped in a heavy fog. The fog blankets the whole land and they cannot even see their fingers. Because of the fog, Toni and Carla are separated. Toni is almost caught by the strange No-Faces. Fortunately, Ona arrives to rescue him. At the same time, Carla accidentally enters the Ghost Village in the Dark Mountains!

We discover that there exist two forces in the past. Ona is a hero who watches over the ancient Aboriginal people. Corbu is an evil, greedy invader and the No-Faces are his men. Corbu also uses terrible black magic to control the Aboriginals and plunder their resources.

Can Toni and Carla help the Aboriginal people fight against Corbu’s evil magic? Can they help Ona discover the secret of Ghost Village in the Dark Mountains? Will they be able to find the way home?
